Short version: your games never leave your browser — they're analysed locally.
What we collect
Not your games. There are no accounts, no sign-in, and no advertising, and we have no server that receives your games — your PGNs, moves, and analysis stay in your browser, so we can't see or store them.
Your games stay on your device
PGNs you paste are parsed and analysed locally — Stockfish runs as a WebAssembly worker inside your browser tab. Your moves are never uploaded to us.
Importing from Chess.com / Lichess
When you import games by username, your browser talks directlyto Chess.com's or Lichess's public APIs to fetch your recent games. Those requests go to those services (not to us), and are subject to their own privacy policies. We don't proxy, log, or store any of it.
Local storage
We use your browser's localStorage only to remember your preferences on your own device — your theme (light/dark), board theme, and best-move-hint setting. These never leave your browser, and you can clear them any time via your browser settings.
